چکیده
For the first time, retinol has been associated with Vitreoscilla filiformis extract (a probiotic fraction regenerative properties). The efficacy of this new combination was assessed in vitro and confirmed clinical trials. Normal human keratinocytes were treated or not Retinol (0.1 μM), (1.4 x 10-4%) their for 24 hours. Gene expression then evaluated by RT-qPCR. In addition, trials performed to evaluate benefits mixt ingredients (0.25% 1% respectively) a cream on Caucasian Asian women from 20 65 years old using Dermal torque meter, Transepidermal water loss chloride dansyl. Then studies have conducted wrinkles skin homogeneity. inhibited transcript involved differentiation (CALM5, CASP14, KRT10, SPRR1A, SPRR1B, TGM1) while stimulating others linked proliferation (KRT19) innate immunity (S100A7, DEFB4A). potentiates effect amplifying, synergic way additive way, transcripts epidermal renewal (HAS3, MMP3, KRT19 expression). also able reverse some negative effects increasing FLG, LOR, CDSN EPVL. formula containing combo shown an improvement reinforcing barrier function as predicted our study. original decreases visibility, dark spot, improved tone evenness, smoothness improve firmness. act retinoid-multiplier improving reversing inhibitory retinoids. At end, improves parameters decreased during aging decrease signs.

Improvement of atopic dermatitis skin symptoms by Vitreoscilla filiformis bacterial extract.
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronically relapsing inflammatory skin disease. The first line treatment of AD relies on the daily use of emollients to restore the skin barrier impairment associated with the disease. Vitreoscilla filiformis (V.f.) is a non photosynthetic bacterium and extracts of V.f. are endowed with properties which balance cutaneous immune-homeostasis. The aim of our study was ...
متن کاملNatural ingredients for anti-ageing skin care
The expanding range of natural actives in mainstream cosmetic products that support healthy skin aging, is ample proof that the industry now relies heavily on these ingredients. Recent scientific evidence has served to strengthen the concept of phytonutrients and validate their efficacy at the molecular level in keratinous tissues. These findings, along with successful clinical studies, have he...

The significant increase in life expectancy and the process of population ageing are aspects that generate important social and economic changes and influence the health and research policies throughout the world. The ageing phenomenon represents a natural, slow and irreversible process, which affects all body tissues, being determined by a multitude of factors that contribute in different prop...
متن کاملA novel anti-ageing mechanism for retinol: induction of dermal elastin synthesis and elastin fibre formation.
Dermal elastic fibres are extracellular matrix protein complexes produced by fibroblasts and involved in skin elasticity. Elastin fibres decrease with age as a result of reduced synthesis and increased degradation, resulting in skin sagging and reduced skin elasticity. In this study, we show that retinol (ROL), known to enhance dermal collagen production, is also enhancing elastin fibre formati...
متن کاملComplete Genome Sequence of Vitreoscilla filiformis (ATCC 15551), Used as a Cosmetic Ingredient
We report the first complete genome sequence of a Vitreoscilla filiformis strain (ATCC 15551) that is used in the cosmetic industry as Vitreoscilla ferment. The assembled genome consisted of one chromosome and two plasmids. These data will provide valuable information and important insights into the physiology of this filamentous organism.
